Corinne Bailey Rae is marking two decades of her self-titled debut album with a new anniversary tour built around the record that introduced her to a wide global audience.
In a new tour announcement, Bailey Rae confirmed that Like a Star: Celebrating 20 Years of Corinne Bailey Rae will feature the album performed in full. The run begins May 29 in Fairfield, Connecticut, and includes several North American stops before additional international dates.
The 2006 album became a defining release of the mid-2000s, led by songs such as Put Your Records On and Like a Star. Its warm soul, pop, and acoustic sound helped Bailey Rae earn major recognition and connect with listeners beyond one genre.
Bailey Rae also announced a children’s book inspired by Put Your Records On. The book is scheduled for release on March 3, with launch events planned in the New York area.
The anniversary tour gives fans a chance to revisit the album as a complete work, nearly 20 years after it first arrived.
